• You are responsible to turn sophisticated mechatronics into cost effective radiation tolerant systems.
• You model radiation effects and design radiation hardened integrated circuits and embedded systems for radiation hardened electronics for space applications.
• You will improve FD-SOI and will find new solutions to reduce the error rate in digital and mixed-signal ASICs, and SRAM-based FPGA.
• You determine acceptable thresholds for the systems for high energy photons (γ-rays, x-rays,..) and charged particles (i.e., protons, electrons, α-particles, energetic heavy ions).
• Your new testing paradigms and verification methodologies will limit the time and cost for evaluation.

• You have a master or PhD in electrical or aerospace engineering, physics, or computer science.
• You already have several years of professional experience in radiation assurance for aerospace and improvement of sophisticated hardware.
• You gained experience in using relevant software like SPENVIS, CREME96, FastRAD, OMERE, FLUKA, Geant4, or equivalent.
• You bring experience LASER systems for sensing or communication.
• You are characterized by a very structured way of working and you work in a responsible and solution-oriented manner.
• You are a team player who enjoys being part of agile team of highly skilled experts.
• Your English is excellent, and you may speak German too.
